The Samoa Residents Team have been beaten 36-22 in the first of two rugby league matches against New South Wales Country in Apia yesterday.
The visitors led 24-10 at half-time and scored six tries in all, including one to former Toa Samoa international Terrence Seuseu, with captain Sam Wooden converting all six.
The two teams will face off again on Friday.
