The Solomon Islands prime minister Gordon Darcy Lilo has rejected the resignation letter of the attorney general, Billy Titiulu.
Mr Titiulu had tendered in his resignation by letter on Wednesday afternoon.
However, he had added his resignation would depend on whether the Prime Minister accepted it.
The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation says according to a media statement from the Prime Minister's Office, Mr Titiulu has agreed to continue in the job after a misunderstanding with the Government was resolved.
