The Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, Tuiloma Neroni Slade, has called on the Pacific region to accelerate efforts towards regional integration.
He has told the inaugural meeting of Pacific ACP officials in Suva that as the region seek to further engage with Europe over the Economic Partnership Agreement, more effort should go towards regional integration.
The meeting discussed specific regional initiatives through which the Pacific's relationship with the European Union and the ACP group can be strengthened.
