Sport: PNG cricketers win first hit-out before U19 World Cup

Papua New Guinea have beaten Scotland in a tight finish to their opening warm-up match ahead of the Under 19 Cricket World Cup in Australia.

Sese Bau lead the run chase for the Garamuts with 72 as PNG chased down Scotland's 9/198 with three overs to spare.

Chad Soper and Charles Amini also chimed in with 33 and 21, while Toua Tom was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 17.

PNG's opening match at the World Cup is against Zimbabwe in Townsville next weekend.
