French Polynesian athlete wins Olympic silver

French Polynesia is celebrating its first athlete to win an Olympic medal.

Anne-Caroline Graffe secured a silver medal in the taekwondo heavyweight in the final she lost against Serbia's Milica Mandic.

Graffe was a late entry to the London competition as France's first choice had to withdraw because of injury.

Graffe says she was first Polynesian to represent France at the Olympics.

26-year-old Graffe was born in Tahiti but move to France when she was 18.
