India have all but secured a spot in the quarter finals of the Under 19 Cricket World Cup in Queensland.

Papua New Guinea's group rivals easily beat Zimbabwe by six wickets on Tuesday for their first win of the tournament.

A win over the Garamuts on Thursday would see them advance to the knockout stages along Group C leaders, the West Indies.

Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa and the Windies have already guaranteed their progression with unbeaten records.
