Fiji hopes to learn how to grow its economy from UAE experience

Fiji's interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama hopes to learn from the United Arab Emirates' experience in growing its economy.

He was speaking at the opening of Fiji's new embassy in Abu Dhabi.

The regime leader paid tribute to UAE's growth through focused vision and inspirational leadership.

He says the embassy will position Fiji's interests in the region s well as providing consular services.

The Embassy is headed by former academic and diplomat Robin Nair.
