American Samoa hopes for 103 million dollars of project help from FEMA

103 million US dollars worth of projects funded by the US Federal Emergency Management Agency are set to begin or be completed in the coming fiscal year.

The bulk of the funding is for the American Samoa Power Authority's power plant.

The 103 million dollars also includes 21 million for hazard mitigation projects such as the Tualauta drainage, the Matu'u stream, and the Futiga underground cabling.
