Solomon Islands police have strongly condemned the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old disabled girl in Malaita Province.
The Police Sexual Assault Unit says it is sad such an innocent girl was sexually molested.
The director of the Unit, Florence Taro revealed in a press conference that a 20 year old male suspect has been arrested and remanded in custody while the victim is still under medical care.
