The future of Air France's staff in French Polynesia remains uncertain as the carrier is to be revamped.
The national plan for Air France provides for 20 percent more efficiency by the end of 2014 while staff numbers are cut.
According to Tahiti media reports, the air link between Paris and Papeete is among the ones incurring the biggest losses.
Unions say to save the service, staff have been asked to improve productivity by 35 percent while accepting an 18 percent pay cut.
Talks have been ongoing.
An agreement is due to be reached by the end of the month.
