The Solomon Islands futsal team fly out for Brisbane on Tuesday ahead of a one-off international against Australia.
It will be their first international since winning last year's Oceania Championship.
The Kurukuru have spent the past few months training in Honiara and will also play matches in Spain and Thailand ahead of November's World Cup.
Head coach Dickson Kadau says, with the Futsalroos also qualified for the World Cup, the match help him gauge where his team is at.
"Australia is very tough for us and like I say that's the time we will see what experience we get from the OFC and other international tournaments that we've been attending for the past four years."
Solomon Islands are in the same pool as Russia, Guatemala and Colombia at the World Cup.
