Samoa's Lalomanu Beach has made it to Lonely Planet's list of the world's top ten most beautiful beaches.
The beach has ranked seventh on the list, beating out other locations such as Colombia and Cape Verde.
A local fale operator, Lydia from Litia's Beach Resort, says being on the list has been good for business and the community especially with offering jobs for locals.
She attributes a feeling of family and welcome to the success of Lalomanu Beach, especially after the rebuilding of the area after the 2009 tsunami.
"They will find a true relaxation on the beach, and the accomodation is very comfortable. And everyone here is very welcoming and friendly, which is something that we believe in. And for the majority of the people that have come and left and kept coming, that's one of the reasons why they come back because they feel they're at home when they come here."
