The Solomon Islands Government says it will continue to support Taiwan's push for full participation in United Nations' bodies.
Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo, speaking at a dinner marking Taiwan's national day, says rural Solomon islanders have benefited from Taiwan's development assistance.
He has pledged his full support for its push to be a member of the International Civil Aviation Organisation and the United Nations framework convention on climate change.
