Pacific Forum names team to review Pacific Plan

The Pacific Islands Forum has now named the full team which will carry out a review of the Pacific Plan on regional co-operation.

It was revealed during the leaders' summit in the Cook Islands that it would be led by former Papua New Guinea Prime Minister, Sir Mekere Morauta.

Representing the Forum will be Peseta Noumea Simi, an assistant chief executive in Samoa's Ministry of Finance and Redley Killion, a former vice president of the Federated States of Micronesia.

Two international consultants will also be part of the review.

They are Peter Bazeley of the United Kingdom and Dr. Nick Poletti of New Zealand.

Mr Bazeley is considered an expert on development strategy and aid effectiveness issues while Dr Poletti has worked as a consultant in strategic planning, public sector reform and economic development.
