The Coast Guard is looking for a plane which may have crash-landed into the water north of the Hawaiian island of Maui.
The privately owned single engine Cessna airplane disappeared from radar while flying from Maui to Molokai Saturday night.
The Coast Guard is using a helicopter, an airplane and a boat to search for the plane.
It is not known if anyone other than the pilot was on board the Cessna 172-S four-seat plane.
