Sport: Canada and USA join Pacific Nations Cup

The Pacific Nations Cup rugby tournament is getting a revamp with two new teams joining in 2013.

The International Rugby Board has confirmed that Canada and USA will join the tournament on a permanent basis, alongside Fiji, Japan and Tonga.

The new-look format, will be played between May 25 and June 23 and will see matches hosted in Canada, Fiji, Japan and USA.

Reigning champions Samoa aren't taking part in the 2013 edition, after being invited to compete in a quadrangular competition in South Africa in June against the Springboks, Scotland and Italy.
