7:56 pm on 23 January 2013

The unclaimed remains of the body found on the JeReVe yacht with over 200 kilograms of cocaine in Tonga last year, will be buried soon.

Matangi Tonga reports that two months after his death there has been no contact received from the next of kin of Milan Rindzak.

He was identified to be of Slovak nationality.

The cocaine seized from the yacht was worth around 120 million US dollars and was sent to Australia for destruction.

The police commissioner, Grant O'Fee, says for health reasons police will not keep the remains at the morgue in Neiafu.

He says the body will be buried in Vava'u as soon as possible.
