Sport: It's win or nothing for Fiji in Wellington

11:19 am on 30 January 2013

Fiji coach Timoci Wainiqolo says nothing less than a win will satisfy his team at this weekend's Wellington leg of the IRB Sevens Series.

The Pacific country go into the tournament in third place in the overall standings, behind New Zealand and France.

Fiji defended their Gold Coast Sevens title in October but failed to make it past the Cup quarter finals in the past two tournaments in Dubai and Port Elizabeth.

Timoci Wainiqolo says the team is well prepared and has one clear aim.

"We are coming here...we will win this tournament. That's what we are here for. We will takle any time that comes across us and we want to be at the level of first or second in the world rankings."

Fiji are pooled with Scotland, Australia and Portugal on day one and won't be having any practice games ahead of the start of the tournament.
