The Fiji Warriors have begun the defence of their Pacific Rugby Cup crown in winning fashion.
The Inoke Male coached team beat the Brisbane Academy 24-17 on Thursday after their first match last week was called off due to poor weather.
Samoa A bounced back from an opening round loss to beat the Sydney Academy 33-24, although Tonga A were no match for the ACT XV, who ran away 62-12 winners.
The final round of matches in the Australian leg of the tournament is on Tuesday.
