Fiji's new Airbus arrives in Nadi

7:45 pm on 19 March 2013

The Fiji national airline's new Airbus A330 aircraft has landed in Nadi after an overflight of Suva.

It has the livery of Fiji Airways, which is the name the national carrier will revert to after being called Air Pacific for 43 years.

The A330 is the first of three such planes which have been ordered to replace the airline's Boeing 747 aircraft.

Last month, the prime minister went to France to look at the plane at the Toulouse assembly plant.
