Fiji's Bainimarama says constitution has not been rigged

Fiji's regime leader Commodore Frank Bainimarama says Fiji's constitution has not been rigged.

The regime's draft document has come under fire for allowing the regime to stay in power up until election day and for concentrating power in the hands of the Prime Minister and Attorney General.

Commodore Bainimarama, who is standing for election in the 2014 polls, has told Al Jazeera it is an insult to those who have put together the constitution, to suggest it has been rigged.

He says critics are talking out of the top of their head.
