Waitakere United are on the brink of qualifying for the semi-finals of the Oceania Champions League after earning a crucial 1-0 away win over crosstown rivals Auckland City on Sunday.
The victory sees Waitakere leapfrog Auckland into first place in Group B on 10 points, with one group match remaining.
City are a point back in second place, but will be overtaken by Dragon if the Tahitian club can beat winless Mont Dore on Wednesday.
Elsewhere over the weekend, Fijian champions Ba won 2-1 at Amicale FC to go three points clear of the Group A.
Solomon Warriors also picked up their first win of the campaign, thrashing winless Hekari United 4-2 at Lawsom Tama Stadium.
