Hawaiian Airlines drops Honolulu to Manila service

11:00 am on 25 April 2013

Hawaiian Airlines is discontinuing what it calls an underperforming non-stop Honolulu to Manila service.

Hawaiian Airlines last flight from Hawaii to the Philippines will be on the 31st of July, and the return flight from Manila will arrive in Honolulu on the 1st of August.

The airline inaugurated its Honolulu to Manila service, with four flights per week back in April 2008.

Hawaiian said it's now making arrangements with other airlines serving the Philippines to accommodate customers who have ticketed reservations after the 1st of August and will be contacting affected passengers.

The airline will continue to accept reservations for travel prior to the discontinuation date, provided all travel is completed by the 1st of August.
