Canada maintained their winning start to the Pacific Nations Cup rugby tournament, edging Fiji 20-18 in Ottawa on Thursday.

It's the first time the North American side has beaten Fiji in a test match for 18 years.

The win sees Canada move to the top of the PNC standings with eight points, two ahead of the Flying Fijians.

The Canucks have a quick turnaround before their next match against Tonga in Kingston on Sunday, while Fiji travel back home to take on the Classic All Blacks on Wednesday.
