FBC News reports that several staff from the Fiji Elections Office have been dismissed.
It quotes the minister for elections, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, as saying they have been terminated after discrepancies were discovered at the Elections Office.
He says a couple of people did not follow certain processes and procedures that have been set out.
