First woman appointed to senior position in PNG Police Force

The Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary has for the first time appointed a female officer to a senior position in the force.

Superintendent Joanne Clarkson, Director Corporate Planning, has been elevated in an acting capacity to the newly created position of Assistant Commissioner Reforms.

In her new position Superintendent Clarkson will be in charge of the reforms currently taking place within the Constabulary.
