The three assessors in the trial of a former Fiji Land Force Commander, Pita Driti, have found him not guilty of the two charges against him.

Driti faces one count of inciting mutiny and one count of committing a seditious act.

The assessors' decision is not binding on the court.

FBC News reports Justice Paul Madigan is due to deliver his judgment after midday.
