The Fiji Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama has announced that his proposed political party will be called "Fiji First".
Fiji Broadcasting Corporation reports Rear Admiral Bainimarama announced his party's name on Sunday and said Fijians know what his government has achieved in the past eight years and people will make a good choice in September.
He says he will reveal the candidates of his proposed party in due course.
He says right now he is planning to collect the five thousand signatures and a sum of five thousand and five dollars, in order to register the party, and will travel around the country to do so.
Rear Admiral Bainimarama also unveiled his campaign bus at My Suva Park in Nasese on Sunday.
