Alex Leapai has taken added inspiration for this weekend's heavyweight boxing world title fight with Wladimir Klitschko after visiting a grave site in Germany.
Samoan-born Leapai visited the Rheinberg War Cemetery where 240 Australians and 104 New Zealanders are buried after perishing in the Second World War.
The 34 year-old says seeing all the young men that died fighting for their country is unbelievable and he plans to take a similar ANZAC spirit into Sunday's bout in Oberhausen and put everything on the line to bring home the title for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
New Zealand-Samoan boxer Joseph Parker, who is on the undercard for the heavyweight fight, was also in attendance.
