Lord Fusitu'a takes his father's seat in Tonga parliament

In Tonga Lord Fusitu'a has been elected as the noble's representative of the two Niuas, filling the seat previously held by his late father, who passsed away last month.

He beat Lord Fotofili and Lord Tangipa in the vote, made by the country's nobles.

Lord Fusitu'a now becomes one of the 9 nobles in the Legislative Assembly, alongside the 17 democratically elected MPs and several appointed by the Government.
