A total of 48 people are now seeking medical attention from a fever and rash outbreak in American Samoa.
Patients are also showing symptoms such as body pains, and red spot-bumps.
The youngest patient is a 2-month-old while the eldest is 68.
The department of health says the illness is caused by a mosquito-spread dengue-like virus.
A department official, Siitia Soliai-Lemusu, says it isn't at a serious stage, but residents need to take precautions.
"However if they feel too ill, please come in, come in to see your physician, come to the emergency room, or utilise the outreach clinics, the community health clinics and there are physicians at the clinics."
Siitia Soliai-Lemusu says people should use Deet as a repellant, dress properly with long sleeves and drain water from buckets or tyres that can become mosquito breeding grounds.
