The Papua New Guinea police say they are searching for two foreigners and a local man over the killing of an Iranian asylum seeker on Manus Island in February.
23-year-old Reza Berati was beaten to death allegedly by a group of guards during a riot inside Australia's processing centre, during which 60 other detainees were injured.

"The police will neither say whether the suspects worked for G4S, the company which provided security at the centre, nor where the foreign suspects are from. They say, however, the wanted foreigners are believed to still be in the country. G4S says in a statement it has not been contacted by the PNG police about the arrests. It says G4S has always given its full co-operation to the police and Australian government investigations. Two former G4S security guards from Papua New Guinea Joshua Kaluvia and Louie Efi have been arrested and charged with the murder of Mr Berati."
