Sport: Fiji Cricket prepares to bowl over opponents

The Fiji Cricket coach says his team should have the fastest bowling attack at the upcoming East-Asia Pacific region's Twenty20 World Cup Qualifiers.

The 14-member squad has been named to play a round-robin series against Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Samoa, Japan, the Cook Islands, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Shane Jurgensen says he is confident that his team will do well with a strong bowling attack and an improving batting lineup.

"What we'll tend to have is a slightly stronger bowling team, in terms of the fact that we've got a lot of bowling options. We've probably got allrounders typically playing from batting position six all the way through down to 11 so all those guys can bat and bowl. That gives us a little bit of variety"
