There have been repeated delays to announcing the final list of candidates for the election in Solomon Islands due on November the 19th.
The Electoral Commission postponed several scheduled media conferences this week because of what is understood to be discrepancies in several provincial polling centres.
Last week, the Commission said preliminary figures showed a drop in the number of intending candidates this year compared to the last election in 2010.
Staff at the Electoral commission say the final list will not be ready until next week.
