CNMI air crash victims sue

Two survivors of a plane crash on Tinian in the Northern Marianas in October 2013 are suing the airline, Star Marianas, and others for their injuries and the death of a family member.

Aside from the local inter-island carrier, Lisha Gu and Yuxin Wu are also suing Tinian Transportation Management Solutions Inc., the plane's pilot Luis Silva, and 10 unnamed co-defendants, for wrongful death, negligence, loss of consortium, and emotional distress.

Gu and Yuxin Wu were among the four survivors of the crash.

Gu's husband, Xuan Wu, was one of killed with Mr Silva and a 26-year-old female tourist.

The Piper Aircraft being piloted by Mr Silva crashed five kilometres miles north of Tinian international airport.
