A former instructor at a Samoan special needs school has pleaded guilty to 14 sex crimes committed against the students.

38-year-old Vaiaoga Leatuvao, who had taught at the Senese School for people with special needs, has admitted to rape, carnal knowledge, and indecent assault on a number of female students.
He originally entered a not guilty plea.
Leatuvao was initially charged in July 2013 but absconded to the United States where he was arrested and deported last year.
An application for bail to allow Leatuvao to see his family before sentencing has been denied.
The pre-sentence hearing is scheduled for March the 6th when a probation report and legal submissions will be heard.
