The Fiji women's sevens team scored twice in the final 70 seconds to overhaul Spain 17-12 and win the bowl title in Atlanta.
The Fijiana trailed 7-5 at halftime and were headed for a fourth defeat in five games when Spain extended their lead to seven points with two minutes remaining.
But a stunning individual effort down the left-hand touchline from Asinate Savu levelled the match at 12-all before Rusila Nagasau burst through the Spanish defence to score the match-winner on the full-time siren.
The result matched Fiji's win over Spain in the bowl final in Sao Paulo last month and avenged a defeat to the same team in pool play a day earlier.
