Tokelau's main supply link with the outside world, the PB Matua, is preparing to depart Apia after being delayed four times in the past two weeks because of poor weather.
The Matua sails regularly from Apia to the atolls - a round journey that can take a week.

Tokelau's general manager, Joe Suveinakama, says they delayed the sailings because high seas caused by Cyclone Pam would have made it difficult for the small boats from the atolls to reach the Matua and unload its cargo and passengers.
But he says it is set to go now.
"As soon as the weather clears up and the villagers are of the view that the channels are actually safe, they are ready to be dispatches anytime soon. So we are actually just talking with the villagers and seeing how, when, and best it is appropriate to send the boat. But from our side here [in Apia] in terms of the preparation of the boat it is ready to be dispatched as soon as possible."
