A legislator in the Northern Marianas Edwin Propst is calling a public meeting over continued flight delays in the territory.
The Saipan representative says Cape Air has continually failed the people of the CNMI and the flight delays have become more than an inconvenience to the Commonwealth.
Mr Propst says frequent flight cancellations have hurt CNMI business, its tourism industry, and have put the island people's health and safety in jeopardy.
He says the testimonials he gathers at the public meeting will be forwarded to the CNMI delegate in the US Congress, Gregorio Kilili Sablan.
Cape Air flight cancellations have continued since Friday, reportedly due to technical issues.
