Transparency International Papua New Guinea is due to release its second Parliament Performance Report next month.

The report is part of a renewed effort to boost public knowledge of what the MPs do.
The Open Parliament Project Manager Christine Kula says this includes a database of information which can be accessed via the internet or phone text request.
She says the performance report will include even more information.
"Questions without notice, the bills and legislative activities, the structure of the parliament, the ministerial statements, notices and petitions and we have the information of members affiliated to different political parties. Basically the idea is to bring the work of members of parliament in chamber so that people are informed and they know what their members are doing."
Christine Kula says the project promotes transparency, with over 20,000 text requests coming in over the last 10 months.
