Fish part of plan to erase malaria in Papua

Health authorities in Indonesia's Papua region say they're aiming to erase malaria by 2030.

The Jakarta Post reports mosquito nets are being distributed to households in the region especially in malaria endemic areas.

The authorities say they will work together with other agencies to clean up the environment and on plans like bringing in mosquito larva-eating fish to eradicate the mosquito-borne disease.
