Sport: Manu Samoa announce wider training group for 2015

Chiefs utility Tim Nanai Williams and former Blues backrower Peter Saili have been included in Manu Samoa's 58-strong wider training group for the 2015 season, including the Rugby World Cup.

Nanai Williams is uncapped at test level and will represent Samoa at the Glasgow Sevens next weekend to complete his eligibility switch from New Zealand.

Peter Saili is the brother of two-test All Black Francis and signed for French club Bordeaux earlier this year, after being released by the Blues.

Among thr 58 names are 12 from the Samoa A team that competed in the World Rugby Pacific Challenge, five based in New Zealand, three in Japan, one in South Africa with the remainder playing across Europe in the UK, Italy and France.

The Manu team will be trimmed to 38 for the home test against the All Blacks in July, and 31 for the Pacific Nations Cup.
