Fiji's ministry of information says the talks between Murray McCully and Ratu Inoke Kubuabola focused on bilateral, regional and global issues, including cooperation surrounding New Zealand's seat on the United Nations Security Council.

Ratu Inoke says the talks were a positive development between the two countries that have warmed since Fiji's first post-coup elections last year.
