A suspended Samoan police superintendent, Tagaolo Iosefatu Wright, has entered a not guilty plea to one count of theft as a servant.
Appearing in court on Monday, Tagaolo entered the plea, while a lawyer for the prosecution said the senior officer will stand trial in a hearing to start on the July the 6th.
Tagaolo was arrested and kept in custody last month, following an order from the Police Commissioner as a result of an investigation into the Police Maritime section of the Ministry of Police.
