2:37 pm on 28 May 2015

The Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption has filed an application to amend the particulars of the charge laid against an opposition MP, Ratu Isoa Tikoca.

Last month, Ratu Isoa was charged with one count of failing to declare liabilities under the Political Parties Decree.

FBC News says the FICAC lawyer wants to change the word 'Permanent Secretary of Elections' in the charge sheet to 'Supervisor of Elections'.

Ratu Isoa is expected to take a plea on June the 22nd.

He was forced to surrender his passport as part of the bail conditions.
