Fiji's team at the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea has sent an SOS to the team's sponsors, Fiji Water, to supply the team with drinking water.
The Fiji Times reports the team's captain, Joe Rodan, as saying safe drinking water was a real concern for the athletes.
He says the advance contingent is having to boil water, as the Games' bottled water sponsor is not in a position to supply water as yet, and that many things are behind schedule.
Mr Rodan has asked Fiji Water to send a shipment of drinking water for Fiji's 453 athletes at the Games which begin today.
