A group of Tongan fishermen say they were shocked when they saw a fur seal resting on the northern island of 'One earlier this week.

Seals usually inhabit colder areas, and the fishermen told Radio Tonga they were very surprised to see it in the warm waters around Tonga.

Tonga fisheries authority say it's not uncommon and they were trying to provide medical assistance.
