The Papua New Guinea Hunters are expecting a backlash in tomorrow's top of the table Queensland Cup clash against Townsville in Kokopo.
The Hunters upstaged the Blackhawks 22-16 in Round 11 and both teams have not lost a game in the two months since that first encounter.
Michael Marum's Hunters team is on an 11 match unbeaten run but still trail Townsville by two points in the competition standings
He says they've been looking forward to this match-up for a while, with plenty of chatter
"[There is] big talk around the country, the province and everyone is excited about the match-up. It's going to be a good test for our players, since they're bringing up a few more experienced players but we're treating it as one of those other games but bearing in mind that these guys are a big side - they're on top of the table, sitting clearly there. We played them back in Townsville and had a close win against them, so I think they were not too happy about that game so expect a big game from them this Sunday."
A win would draw the two teams level on the standings but Townsville still have a much stronger points differential.
