The Plaintiff has claimed that the Samoa Ports Authority had unlawfully voided their contract of four years giving them exclusive rights to do advertising for the authority.

The privately owned business has also claimed that the Samoa Shipping Corporation had demolished or damaged its billboard on Mulifanua wharf.

The Samoa Shipping Corporation filed a motion to strike out the case, saying the claim is frivolous, vexatious and an abuse of process, but was unsuccesful.
