The Fiji Under 20 rugby team are focused on doing the basics well against Vanuatu in this afternoon's Oceania Junior Qualification tournament in Suva.
The go into the second round fresh from a 63-0 drubbing of Papua New Guinea, while their Melanesian rivals were thrashed 81-0 by Tonga.
But Fiji Assistant Coach Keli Leawere says the home team won't be complacent and will concentrate on ball retention.
"We just need to keep ball in hand. Make sure we don't be casual, knowing that Tonga thrashed Vanuatu, it's important that we stick to our gameplan. The boys following their instructions and make sure they execute what has been taught by the coaching staff to the boys."
In the early game Tonga take on PNG, with all signs pointing to a winner-takes-all decider on Saturday for a place at next year's Junior World Trophy tournament in Zimbabwe.
